The Atlanta women's sober living program at The Arches is focused on providing a safe and structured transitional living recovery opportunity for women 18 years of age and older.
In our Substance Abuse Disorder track the focus is to continue to process into the 12 steps. Getting a sponsor and keeping the sponsor is part of that process with the goal of getting into the 9th step amends within 6 months.
We do provide a track for the primary mental health client that focuses on continuing to process forward with recovery and support groups focused on the individuals needs. Many times the 12 steps are part of that journey but we work on building an individual treatment plan that provides the proper support and focus on the individuals needs.
In early sobriety there are many variables and emotional challenges for women in recovery. Many times there are co-occurring dual diagnosis and other issues that must be addressed to provide the proper level of care and to address the root cause of the problem.
We support and provide the needed encouragement and personal structure that is so necessary to help women in early recovery begin to build a positive self-image for themselves. As they gain those necessary pieces of inner-self and self trust they can begin to trust others.
We take great efforts to maintain a structure that minimizes the possibility of seeking those outside sources of validation from unhealthy relationships and work on keeping a healthy focus on the inner self to create the changes necessary to lead a productive, healthy life.
We look forward to meeting you and discussing how our community might fit your needs and help you move into the transitional stages of recovery and onto maintaining a productive and happy lifestyle.
